Foundation history

Our Story

A Foundation Built on Purpose.

The Kappa Foundation of Toledo was established in 2026 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We were created to formalize and grow the charitable spirit long associated with members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. in the Glass City — and to channel that spirit into lasting programs for the next generation.

Our work is rooted in the founding principles of Kappa Alpha Psi: training for leadership, achievement in every field of human endeavor, and service to humanity. We are translating those ideals into scholarships, mentorship, and community initiatives that are being carefully designed today.

As a new organization, we are actively building our board, programs, and partnerships. We invite donors, volunteers, and community leaders to help shape the Foundation from the ground up — and to be part of the legacy we are creating together.
